Composites

Just because the background isn’t ideal doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. With After Dark Artistry, your vehicle can be traditionally light painted on location—even in an everyday or less-than-optimal setting—but placed into a scene that matches your vision. Whether it’s a dramatic landscape, a vintage street, or a sleek studio look, we can make it happen through expert compositing. This technique is also essential when photographing vehicles in tight spaces like storage buildings or garages, where full access isn’t possible. And when a single angle just won’t do justice to your ride’s details, we create a dynamic composite that showcases multiple standout views—ensuring every line, badge, and custom touch gets its moment to shine.

This client wanted the Chicago skyline from that particular vantage point, which wasn’t open the having a car parked there for the length of time needed to light paint it. So a. photograph was taken of just the skyline at the approximate height the car would be photographed and then the car in an empty gas station parking lot. The client’s dream image was completed.
